Non BS related.

So I recently got to do a skype chat with the fabulous Bridget Regan from ‘Legend of The Seeker’.

Here is a summary of my Skype session with the fabulous Bridget Regan. It’s more like a story to be honest. I’ve tried to be as in-depth as I can and maybe I talked too much ( I really did!) so sorry for the babbling. I actually think I talked about myself a little too much, but I wanted it to be just a chat more than an interview, so… anyhow I’ve tried to be as accurate as I can, but with my memory that leaves a lot to be desired.

Basically, when I’ve used quotes, it’s not going to be exactly how it was said but I tried to be as accurate as I could since you couldn’t record any audio/video, and I apparently have the memory of a fish! :) So it went something like this, or hey, maybe I just thought it went like this. Anyhow…

NOTE: Sorry for any bad spelling and grammar.

Here goes…

Updates!

I will be updating the site with lots of updates in the next day or two! In the meantime, I don’t usually ask anything of the visitors of the site (I fund everything site related myself, and of course I am more than happy to do so!) however, if you appeciate the effort I put in to the site then I ask that if you have $1, $10, $25 (basically whatever you can) would you think about donating to the ‘CAMP WANATACHI’ Kickstarter campaign. You can read more about the campaign here. The money will help fund the musical production to play in New York in early 2011. The musical comedy was created by Natalie Weis and produced by the star of Disney – ABC’s ‘Legend of the Seeker’, Bridget Regan, and Ian Pai, co-founder of Blue Man Group.

The pledges will close in 4 days so if you donate do it quickly and also if you manage to pledge something, please email me at bsfansdotcom@googlemail.com and let me know, so I can give you a online *high five* for your total awesomeness. :)

Julia Voth – Poetry Readings tonight!

Julia posted the following on her Twitter account:

“Come to the Poetry Brothel tonight at the ‘House of Blues’! Starts at 8…”

So, if you’re in the LA area get down to the ‘House of Blues’ for 8:00pm to see Julia do some reading of her poetry. It’s on 8430 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069. Get down and show your support. :)

So…

LOTS and LOTS of updates coming soon!

IMPORTANT UNRELATED NEWS

So, I thought I’d use the site to promote another fabulous show called ‘Legend of the Seeker’, if you haven’t heard of the show, then you’re missing a GREAT show! The fantastic Michael Hurst (‘Hercules’, ‘Xena’ and err, of course, ‘Bitch Slap’ fame) has directed multiple episodes. There is a campaign to help renew the show for a third season, and I/we need your help! The show is in it’s 2nd season currently, but there is a chance that it will not be renewed, which is a BAD decision! The show has such a strong cast and crew.

More Erin on Girl2Watch.com

Don’t forget Erin is this weeks ‘Girl 2 Watch’. Check it out over at Girl2Watch.com. They have posted a new part of the interview, which well, I can actually relate too.

Here’s a sample of what Erin had to say:-

Painful Memory

When I was younger, I was one of those kids that had really bad acne. I never had attention from boys, I never had a boyfriend. I remember I was at a party once and there was this boy that I had a huge crush on, and we were sitting out in the garage together drinking a beer and he said, “I got to ask you a question.” And I thought he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend, or he was going to ask me to kiss him or something and he said… “I just have to ask you, do you ever wash your face?”

Firstly… what an idiot. Secondly, I admire her for sharing that. As well, I can relate, I was one of those kids unfortunate to have bad skin when I was younger (thankfully it’s completely gone now!) but still as a teenager, it was pretty horrible. So remember people… Erin’s been there, hell, even Brad Pitt has been there, so… don’t fret! :)

Julia Interview over at Canmag.com

Julia was interviewed over at Canmag.com

Here are some snippets of what she had to say:

“They had more of the fight scenes than I did but I had my dance scenes that I had to do and it looked kind of easy, but I had 8” stilettos on with 20 lb. angel wings on my back so walking in the heels alone was a challenge. Then dancing and making it look sexy and everything, I would go whoa and fall backwards, try to keep myself composed. It’s not as easy as it looks.”

“It’s completely changed I think all of our careers. It’s opened doors that weren’t there before. Especially for me, this was my first film acting job ever so it’s been amazing. I’ve gotten other jobs and just the experiences and the learning process of being on set and working with them and everyone, Rick [Jacobson] and Eric [Greundemann], it’s been incredible. It’s been an incredible journey and I’m very grateful for it.”

Erin is this weeks ‘Girl 2 Watch’

Erin is this weeks ‘Girl 2 Watch’. Check it out over at Girl2Watch.com. Click here to get the Girl2Watch in your box each week for Free!

Here’s a sample of what she had to say:-

On ‘Spartacus’:

In episode one, Sura is kidnapped and taken from him and he spends the whole of the season basically trying to get her back. It was the opportunity of a lifetime for me because it gave me the chance to play the leading lady, the love interest in a period piece, with an accent, doing fight scenes. Having done Spartacus, it kind of balances things out because people go, “Oh, she’s a really serious dramatic actress, but she’s got a cool sense of humor enough to go do a movie like Bitch Slap.”
